weekly photo challenge: Fresh
It doesn’t hurt to listen to omens, yesterday I dreamt about a killer fish in shallow water but today my dream involved finding lots of treasure on the beach. My younger sisters and I went down to the waterfront to see what we could find and, unusually, as we have never seen them there before, we came across a number of large starfish. It was cooling and refreshing to catch them in the calm waves and they obligingly let us photograph them on the freshly washed up seaweed. Don’t worry, we put them all back in the end.
I think there is often wisdom in dreams. These starfish are new to me–very striking. I’m glad you threw them back into the water.
I do too, I think i generally have slightly prophetic ones (small beans stuff, like what’s on TV that day). sorry for the delay in replying, I had no interweb.

Wow, have seen many starfish but none of them looked like these! How bizarre!
I have also seen some large bright blue ones in the Philippines but they don’t have that armored look, more flowery and squidgy instead.
Wow! They look almost fearsome, but very cool too, especially as your dream panned out and you found some exciting treasure! 🙂 Great images.
Have a great weekend!

I hear that starfish are in fact fearsome predators and that anything lower in the food chain that can run from them does, luckily we are not mollusks.
That’s a scary thought isn’t it? Especially if, as you say you are a mollusk! Good think I’m only a part-time mollusk, Monday afternoons and Sundays only! 😉
Great first entry. Welcome to the weekly photo Challenge.
Thank you, I’m glad you like it.
